Brown’s Open Curriculum allows students to explore broadly while also diving deeply into their academic pursuits. Tell us about any academic interests that excite you, and how you might use the Open Curriculum to pursue them while also embracing topics with which you are unfamiliar. (200-250 words)

Please respond in 100 words or fewer.

What drives you to create and what do you hope to make or have you made ?
D. Dr. Seuss, aka Theodor Geisel of Dartmouth's Class of 1925, wrote, "Think and wonder. Wonder and think." What do you wonder and think about?What excites you?
E. "Not everything that is faced can be changed; but nothing can be changed until it is faced," wrote James Baldwin. How does this quote apply to your life experiences?

普林斯顿大学 
普林斯顿大学目前还未公布2022-2023年的补充文书题目。

但普林斯顿大学非常看重学生的英语学术写作能力。因为除了补充文书的要求,普林斯顿大学都会有一个Graded Written Paper。

顾名思义,就是一篇由学生独立写作的,带有老师分数或者评级的,选自课内的课程作业或考试论文,但是必须符合学术写作要求的作文。

通过评价申请者们的 Graded Written Paper,大学招生官们可以客观、准确地评估他们在学术领域的书面表达能力。

普林斯顿大学对这份论文做出了四个要求:这篇文章一定是申请者在高中课内阶段写的,最好是英语课、社会科学课或历史课程的相关论文。申请者可以提交课程论文、研究论文或考试论文,任何学术写作文本都可以。1 - 2 页的篇幅就足够了。该论文必须包括老师的评分和点评意见。

此外,对于国际学生,普林斯顿招生办还强调,就是这篇 Paper 必须是英文写成的,但可以是学生从自己 O-level/A-level 等在校课程里挑选出来的作业。
