今天我们来讲一讲UCLA的夏校申请，也是一个大热门。所以具有比较强的参考价值。首先需要注意的是，UCLA的夏校课程也是分成在读国际大学生和国际高中生的，所以选择课程的时候一定要在”I am….”处选择清楚：https://summer.ucla.edu/internationalstudent
以international student身份申请，即你作为美国之外的大学国际生申请时，首先要了解大学的语言要求，如下（基本上会用到的就是TOEFL和IELTS两种）：
| TOEFL | – minimum score of 80 (iBT) or 550 (PBT) |
| IELTS | – minimum score of 6.5 |
| iTEP | – minimum score of 5 |
| CAE/CPE | – Level C1 A, B, and C |
再次，申请时需要注意，国际生申请的只能是Session A和C，其他session无法申请。申请开始时间是2月17日，注册课程时间时5月1日（Session A）和6月1日（Session C）。这两session的安排如下，大家酌情安排：
申请时，先要完成online registration form。待美国时间12月17日，国际生可以申请：https://summer.ucla.edu/academiccourses/internationalstudent/registrationandenrollment，注意，如果你是UC在读学生或者又是UCLA的学生，那么你的开始时间是2月1日。完成form的时候，你会被引导支付400美金注册费。然后开始enroll courses，操作步骤如下：
- Do not proceed with the enrollment steps below until AFTER completing all steps in the “Registration” section above first.
- Visit MyUCLA and sign-in with your Logon and password
- On the main menu, select “Classes,” then “Find a Class and Enroll”
- Make sure “Summer 2020” is selected. Search for classes using the “Subject Area” or the “Advanced Search.” Once you successfully enter your search parameters, select “Go”
- Enable your enrollment by selecting all the terms and conditions, and clicking “Enable Enrollment.” If you’ve already enabled enrollment, skip to step 5
- Check the box for your desired course. If course has a section, please select a discussion as well. Select “Enroll” to verify enrollment

至于申请I20，即入境合法文件，参照学校给出的方案即可，不用很麻烦。

注册的截止时间是5月3日（Session A）以及6月3日（Session C）,都使用上传扫描件即可。故而抓紧时间。
International High School Student
高中生的所有夏季课程都设置在UCLA的PreCollege Summer Institute,大部分的课程都能保证各位高中小朋友们住校的需求，也就是有housing。目前2020年的课程还没发出来，等2月15日开始申请时，大家可以上去看看。目前可以先参考下2019年的课程。

注意注册课程的方式方法，虽然没有公布，但是根据以往经验，应该和International Student的申请是一个路径，包括I20的申请方式。
