Principal's Message

After a quiet week settling back into learning routines following the October break, we look forward to our annual international celebrations taking place next Wednesday and the joining of our international communities to celebrate the diversity of our cultures and roots. Please join us for a fantastic celebration starting at 9am with our Parade of Nations, followed by our International Food Fair and celebration of music and culture. We are hoping for great weather! We also host a number of visitors thisweek. Staff from across China schools partake in the Middle Leadership Training Programme facilitated by our Education team. Professional development is at the heart of who we are as an educational organisation, and our teachers engage in many different opportunities to collaborate andlearn in both formal and informal ways. So whilst there may be some disruptions to your child’s regular learning with cover lessons taking place, I am sure you will agree the long-term benefits to your child are certainly worthwhile.

We end the week hosting ACAMIS Netball for our Under 19 players. The standards of netball go from strength to strength in the city, and if you are in school it’s a great opportunity to pop in and watch the girls play. During the games, our students will also be raising funds for their service initiatives as part of their annual expedition to Tanzania.
